How cute are these cloth diapers from @norasnursery? Cannot wait to see Isaac's tiny baby bum in them. 😍 We will start around 2 months and chose cloth for its gentleness on babe’s skin, environmental impact + cost effectiveness. 🌿💛 I got some questions about laundering, so here's our process... 🌿 Used diapers + liners + wipes go in a bin with baking soda + tea tree oil. 🌿 When it's time to wash we use Thieves laundry soap! If needed we add a couple drops of tea tree directly to the load. I use 1/4 a capful for a load + have had zero issues. 🌿 We use Seedlings Diaper rash cream + had zero issues with it too! 🌿 With Elliot I started out making my own laundry soap, but it didn't clean well, especially as he got older + started solids. #thankgodfor Thieves!
We started using oils not long after Elliot was born, and I remember few such a sense of relief knowing I had tools in my toolbox. 🌿🙌🏻 for everyday needs, for the bumps in the road, for staying above the health line. 🤱🏼💛🌿 We love the prediluted Kidscents oils especially! Specific blends for homework, owies, tummies, sniffles + sleep. 😍🙌🏻

One of the simplest + most versatile #whole30recipes is a big salad! 🥗🥒🥑think outside your typical salad veggies and mix it up with different protein + toppings + dressing to prevent food boredom. 🙌🏻 I love apples + berries, chopped up veggie noodles, artichoke hearts, roasted sweet potato + zucchini + brussels, nuts + seeds, and dressings by @tessemaes or @primalkitchenfoods or make your own! 😍💃🏼
Since we’re washing a lot of linens + school clothes #germcontrol these days 🤱🏼🤓💛 I mixed up a quick laundry scent booster to make them crisp + clean! And today is the last day of the kits sale so you can get your oils for $124 after a gift from me! 💃🏼 🌿 Laundry Scent Booster: • Epsom Salt or Sea Salt- 1 1/2 C • Baking Soda- 1/2 C • Essential Oils - 20-30 drops - I did equal parya peppermint + rosemary 💛 lavender would be great too! 🌿 Combine all the ingredients well. Let sit to air dry a bit and then transfer into glass jar with lid. THAT'S IT!!! 🌿 Add 2-3 TBSP into your wash. Right into the drum with the clothes. 🙌🏻
After my older son Elliot was born I struggled with postpartum emotions. There were a lot of factors that are different this time around (especially the actual birth experience + support of @atlantabirthcenter), but I feel grateful to know now what I didn’t then. A few things that helped me through... + Getting dressed daily, even if I was staying home 👖 + Solid nutrition with healthy fats, grass fed meats + lots of greens 🥑 + Joy + Progessence Plus oils 🌿 + Nursing to bond with my babe 🤱🏼 + Moving my body in some capacity each day - walks, yoga, just getting outside for some Vitamin D! ☀️ + Talking openly to those I trust about how I was feeling ✨ + Asking for help from my inner circle, even if it was grocery shopping or cleaning the house! 💛
Isaac’s birth was completely different than Elliot’s for multiple reasons, but a big one of those was oils. 🌿 I used clary sage, Valor + patchouli, lavender + peppermint, lemongrass, and Deep Relief all at different stages of labor and am still using oils postpartum for amazing support! 🌿🙌🏻
Isaac Charles officially joined our family yesterday September 9th! 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 20 inches of pure perfection!! I delivered him in the birth tub at @atlantabirthcenter surrounded by an amazing team of midwives + nurses, our incredible doula + my supportive rock of a husband who helped me through every second. It was a beautiful + empowering experience, but also hands down the hardest thing I've ever done. We are already in love with this beautiful miracle boy!
