New Mom Care Package

I love sharing essential oils with anyone and everyone, but I specifically love sharing when it comes to pregnancy, babes and children. I think it's because that was/is a time in my life when I felt the need for natural solutions the most. One of my favorite ways to do this is to send care packages to my new mama friends. Each package is tailored to the needs of the individual, but there are a few things that I typically include.

Joy roller blend: I typically do 7 drops of joy diluted with fractionated coconut oil. Sometimes I will mix joy with peace & calming, with the total number of oil drops around 7. Joy is great for boding between mama and baby and may help ease mama's worries, therefore helping with nursing.

Fennel: You can use it topically or as a dietary supplement.

Lavender: A wonderful calming, relaxing aroma that's also wonderful for skin.

Organic tea: I like Traditonal Medicinals Mother's Milk blend for nursing mamas and Organic Echinacea for immune support for all mamas.
Gentle Babies: This is one of my favorite resources for using essential oils in pregnancy and little ones.
Epsom salt: Soaking in a tub with joy, lavender or peace & calming is a great way to relax at the end of a stressful day, and it is also great those tender new mama places.
Small inner tubes: This one seems like a strange addition, but sometimes after childbirth, it is a bit uncomfortable to sit on a hard surface like the bottom of the tub, so using a small inner tube allows mama to sit in the bath more comfortably.
Pretty, nontoxic nail polish: I include this because honestly, every mama needs something to make her feel special and pretty. Sometimes, it is the littlest things that get you through the day, #amIright?
