Evening Facial Serum

My skin is one thing I have always tried hard to take care of. I was blessed with teenage years filled with more freckles than acne, and since college, I have paid close attention to the products I use on my face. It's no secret around these parts that essential oils are a large part of my beauty routine, so I wanted to share a simple, but effective facial serum that I use one a daily basis.

Frankincense oil has been used for "every conceivable ailment" throughout the history of mankind and is amazing for skin health. Lavender has wonderful calming benefits, which translate to the skin as well. Our skin is exposed to so many enviromental factors on a daily basis, with our faces taking the brunt of the exposure, so treating my skin to a little TLC in the evenings has become one of my favorite rituals.

You will need:
Organic jojoba oil or fractionated coconut oil
20 drops frankincense essential oil
15 drops lavender essential oil
A small glass container or glass bottle

Place essential oils in a small glass jar or empty oil bottle (I used a 15mL bottle) and top with jojoba oil. Swirl to combine and apply liberally to face and neck in the evenings for a wonderful moisturizer.
